I had persuaded Rae to have a conversation with the physiotherapist I had been seeing. Alex is a young recently qualified physio. He has given her some strengthening exercises to do. This will help to elevate the symptoms but not unfortunately sort it out. He has basically confirmed that she will need an operation to get this problem resolved.
At least we now have something to focus on whilst we consider our options.
My shoulder continues to be a an irritant particularly at night. I had read that Nordic walking can be beneficial.
So we are in the situation where Rae has been instructed to drastically curtail her walking and I'm advised to up it.
So I left her at home while I took out the walking poles and set off up the hills on the longway to Lidl.
We rendezvoused at Lidl and then walked back the short way home. The dogs chariot also doubles up as a very handy shopping trolley..
If you're looking for dramatic scenery and jaw dropping views, this is not the place for you. It's ramned with restaurants and high end fashion stores great for promenading and gawping at rich folk. Other than beaches it has little to offer the outdoor enthusiasts.
Having said that we will probably cycle ( Rae can still do this) for the last time along the boardwalk.
We leave for Malaga on Thursday.
Sounds like you’ll be glad to move on x
